Welcome the New Year 2013 in the city of Rochester
Although Rochester, the third largest urban area in the state of New York, is much more popular for its trade fairs and congresses, the city is also home to a vibrant culture and arts district with theaters museums, food markets and art galleries. Attractions include Rochester Museum and Science Center, High Falls Museum, Susan B. Anthony House, etc. In New York State, the biggest celebration may take place in Times Square, but other towns and cities have New Year's Eve events every year as well. Rochester offers residents and guests annual New Year's Eve celebrations that range from family-friendly to adults-only. New Year’s Eve 2013 will be no different.
Ring in the New Year at the Clarion Riverside Hotel. The Clarion throws its annual New Year's Eve celebration with ticket packages offering you the opportunity to stay the night at the hotel. Celebrations include five hours of open bar, a dinner buffet, and hor d'oeuvres throughout the night. The Hyatt Regency's New Year's Eve Extravaganza rings in the New Year with style. Every year, the Hyatt throws a New Year's Eve party complete with a buffet dinner and a massive breakfast buffet. The City of Rochester's annual New Year's Eve celebration happens downtown and is a family-friendly celebration. Vendors spend the evening selling their wares to guests of the celebration, and you can escape the cold weather inside the Convention Center while you listen to live music. As midnight gets closer, make your way over to the Main Street Bridge, where the mayor will make an appearance to ring in the New Year with a fireworks show.
